BB is better for long wear I think but this is nice too. This with the new Tarte hydrating primer produces a very dewy hydrated canvas.

It is very hydrating and dewy and while BB is oil free the Tarte contains several natural oils. Both are meant for under makeup but I would not use this as a primer. I have both and like both but the BB has a more primer like consistency and is often used as such while this is a true moisturizer. Another reviewer compared it to Bobbi Brown face base but I find this to be very different.
